Pokemon MD Explorers of Sky Review

Pokemon Explorers of Sky is a remake of the Pokemon MD Explorers of Time and Darkness. It has Pokemon from Generation 1 to 4. Same as Pokemon MD Explorers of Time and Darkness but way more features! So on with the review! :D

Changes from MD Explorers of Time and Darkness

The changes are pretty good. This game includes both Pokemon exclusives from Time and Darkness MD Games, and the item exclusives from the 2 past games. Now you recurit a Buneary(originally was exclusive to Pokemon MD Time) in Pokemon MD Explorers of Sky! You can even get the Vile Seed(Exclusive to Pokemon MD Darkness) in Pokemon MD Sky too! There are also a new features you unlock as you progress through the game. They're called Special Episodes! As you play through the game, these Special Episodes are unlocked and than when you play them, you get to play some Pokemon that are not avaliable to play in the regular gameplay! There's also a feature called the Sky Jukebox! That plays the music from Dungeons, events in the game, and more! =D You can now recruit Shaymin to your team after beating Primal Dialga though. =P You can also change the style of the frames!(The box where the top menu's located, the box where Pokemon talks, and the menu whne you press X) Also when you progress through the game there is a new area near Treasure Town called Spinda's Cafe! You can recycle old, unneeded items there and get items that are useful! You can recycle the items for a Prize Ticket than redeem the ticket to get some other useful items! Plus there's the Drink Cafe'! Spinda's there to transform your food items into drinks! Use Apples, seeds, gummis for a drink! There's one more! The Demo Dungeon! If your friend has Pokemon MD Explores of Time or Darkness than this feature can give them a demoof one of the dungeons in Explorers of Sky so they can have some fun with Pokemon MD Explorers of Sky too! Plus, you can be different Pokemon when you take the personality quiz! The new Pokemon you could be are a Riolu, Shinx, Eevee, of Vulpix! If your lucky, you get to find the Secret Bazzar in a Dungeon in your explorations! For a small fee of 100 Poke, you can buy a Grab bag from a store there, wash sticky items, escape the dungeon, and even get healed fully! Your HP(Hit Points), your PP of your moves are restored and you get full belly! Your belly is 100/100! I'd say the changes are the best! ;)

Story/Plot

Like any other Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series game, you take a personality quiz to determine what Pokemon you are than after that you choose your Partner. Than you wake up as a Pokemon when you start the game. Than you start a Exploration Team(Rescue Team for Pokemon MD Blue and Red Rescue Team) together. Than you do exploring together. And always, when you start the game, there's always a conflict to the Pokemon World your in. Pokemon MD Blue and Red Rescue Team has a Giant meteor that's going to destroy the entire world since it's so gigantic. In Pokemon MD Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky, time is out of whack and will cause the entire planet to go into paralysis. You always have to go through a long dungeon than defeat a tough Legendary(Rayquaza in Red and Blue Rescue Team, Dialga in Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky). Than after that the conflict is solved/fixed than you say goodbye to your partner since your time in the Pokemon World has ended, and yes, I always seem to kind of cry whne this part occurs since it's so sad. ;_; So the plot is really the same, after the credits roll, you come back, everyone's happy and yeah. Really no change, even for the post-endings. But in Explorers of Sky, you have another dungeon called Sky Peak. That's where you meet Shaymin. So the story hasn't changed a bit execpt for the dungeon added called Sky Peak.

Music

The music is the same. Yes, every part of the music is the same. They made a few changes with Crystal Cave's music. Plus the Special Episodes music and Sky Peak's music, I like it a lot! So the music is the same but I like the new music they added. ^_^

Gameplay

It hasn't really changed. Except for when you do the Special Episodes you get to play as different Pokemon as the main character. Like in the 1st Special Episode you unlock(after unlocking Chapter 3) you get to play as Bidoof! One of the fellow apperentices you see in Wigglytuff's Guild in the Main Story! So yeah, the gameplay is pretty much the same.

Conclusion

This game is just, amazing! I suggest you go try it now! Way more new features than the other Mystery Dungeon series games! In my opinion, this game is like the best game I ever played in my entire life! XD Thanks for reading this review! Come back again to read more reviews on Ryuu when added! =D
